  • Where is the lost and found office?

    Lost property can be reclaimed at reception/registration point on the ground floor of Palais de Beaulieu (entrance next to the mailboxes).

    For certain events (trade fairs/exhibitions), a temporary office may also be set up at Beaulieu. The organisers will send information regarding the location of the lost and found office during the event.

  • Where can I park?

    Pay and display parking is available in the underground car park at Beaulieu (maximum 1.9 metres). Vehicles higher than 1.9 metres must be registered so that they can be parked on the outdoor spaces if they are available. See the link for more details. 

    If the car park is full, it is also possible to park your vehicle at the Vélodrome-Lausanne Park & Ride or Riponne car park.

  • Is there a restaurant on site?

    There is currently no restaurant on site. From 2022, a food court will be open to the public. Refreshments are offered at certain events.

  • Are pets allowed?

    For health and safety reasons, pets are unfortunately not permitted on our premises. However, guide and support dogs are welcome.

  • Where can I purchase tickets for an exhibition?

    Tickets for exhibitions at Beaulieu must be purchased from the organiser. Beaulieu SA does not manage ticket sales for exhibitions.

  • I am a wheelchair user, will I be able to access the areas?

    Beaulieu is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility. The rooms are located in different buildings, so access is varied. The Event Manager will advise the event organiser as to the best option depending on requirements and availability.

  • Is there a cloakroom?

    Depending on the event, the organiser may arrange an attended or unattended cloakroom. Beaulieu, however, does not have a permanent cloakroom.

  • I am looking for a venue for a birthday party

    Unfortunately, our rooms are not suitable for private functions.

  • Venue hire for charities

    Depending on availability, and subject to regulations, charities may hire our rooms. There are no special rates for this.

  • Can I choose my own contractors?

    Yes, you can choose your contractors. However, for safety reasons, certain basic facilities must be provided by our staff. You will find details about mandatory and optional services here.

    With regards to catering, we work with five exclusive caterers that you can discover at the following link.  You also have the option to choose an outside caterer, subject to an additional charge of 15%.

    We would be delighted to advise you on local service providers.

  • Can I bring animals?

    Animals are permitted at Beaulieu under the current legislation of the Canton of Vaud. Having animals at certain events requires authorisation from the cantonal veterinary office. However, if authorisation for the event has been sought via the POCAMA portal, it is not necessary to make an additional application to the veterinary office.   • When can the rooms be hired?

    The rooms can be hired from 7am until 11pm. However, it is possible to extend these hours for an additional cost.

  • Can I reserve parking spaces?

    Parking spaces can be reserved according to your needs and you may purchase group parking tickets at special rates for your participants. Should you choose to hire out the car park, access may be managed by a security system provided to you at an additional cost. However, please note that the car park can never be fully hired out, as some spaces must always remain available for people who have a permanent space.

  • I need to deliver equipment

    If you or your exhibitors have material to deliver on site prior to your event, please speak to your event manager who will confirm that items may be sent and stored in advance. This option is subject to the availability of storage areas on site and is only possible if receiving goods in advance does not incur costs.

    For deliveries that occur during the venue hire period, your event manager will be able to advise you on access and unloading areas depending on the space you are hiring. However, please be aware that only vehicles no higher than 1.9 meters can be parked in the underground car park. If your vehicle is larger than 1.9 meters, you must let us know. Depending on availability and other events, we can find you outdoor spaces.

  • Can we ship material in advance?

    Equipment may only be sent before the exhibition if prior consent is sought from the organiser. If arrangements have not been made in advance, merchandise cannot be received or stored.   Authorised deliveries are only possible if no costs are due on arrival.

    For deliveries and parking during the exhibition period, please refer to the instructions provided by the organiser.

  • I require storage space

    Requests for storage space must be sent to the organiser prior to the event.

  • Where can I buy tickets for a show?

    Beaulieu SA does not operate a ticket office. Tickets for shows and events organised at the Théâtre de Beaulieu must be purchased from the organiser’s official ticket office. Informations and links are available on the events in the online calendar.

  • I am in a wheelchair or have reduced mobility, how can I access the Théâtre de Beaulieu?

    The Théâtre de Beaulieu is accessible for people with reduced mobility, with a ground level entrance, a accessible parking and lifts to the floors. There are reserved seats on the floor for wheelchairs. It is necessary to contact the organiser to reserve these seats specifically and to be accompanied when you arrive at the theatre.

  • Can I bring a pet?

    For reasons of hygiene and safety, pets are unfortunately not accepted at the Théâtre de Beaulieu. However, guide dogs for the blind and visually impaired are accepted.

  • Is there a cloakroom?

    Yes, a cloakroom is available to spectators. It opens 1.5 hours before the start of the performance and closes 15 minutes after the bar closes.

  • What can I bring into the theatre?

    Backpacks, bulky or potentially dangerous objects, drinks and food are not allowed in the auditorium. Mobile phones and other electronic items must be switched off. Other restrictions may apply, depending on the event.

  • Can I eat or have a drink at the Théâtre de Beaulieu?

    Yes, the theatre has several bars offering drinks and snacks. In addition, the Beaulieu restaurant “Quintino”, adjacent to the theatre, offers delicious Italian food for your outing at the theatre. However, it is not allowed to consume inside the theatre. 

  • How long does the show last? Is there an intermission? In which language is it performed?

    Information on the duration of events and other details can be found, if available, on the event page of the online agenda, or from the organiser.

  • Rental to individuals

    The Théâtre de Beaulieu is unfortunately not suitable for private events.
