Association for the Promotion and Vitality of Beaulieu Theatre

The Association pour la culture et le rayonnement du théâtre de Beaulieu exists to develop the theatre. Its remit is to support cultural activities, shows and events and to make them accessible to everyone, in order to promote the theatre and its programmes. It undertakes practical measures for modernising the facilities, so improving the experience and audience comfort.

Created in March 2019, it brings together the institutional producers of the Beaulieu Theatre presented below:

Prix de Lausanne

The Prix de Lausanne provides support for young dancers, aged between 15 and 18. Each year this ballet entrance examination brings together talents from all over the world, assessed by a distinguished panel of judges. The event includes courses, coaching and individual performances and offers to budding artistes the possibility of obtaining study grants, a unique opportunity for their future in dance.

Association La Paternelle

Since 1886 La Paternelle has been giving orphans the chance to celebrate Christmas. Each year, in December, the theatre company of La Paternelle presents a major children’s show. Supervised and supported by professionals, more than 200 young persons take an active part in creating a theatrical production, culminating in unforgettable performances, which bring down the curtain on this artistic adventure.

Béjart Ballet Lausanne

Founded in 1987, the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, since 2007 under the artistic direction of Julien Favreau, perpetuates the heritage of Maurice Béjart. The company cultivates excellence in choreography and aims to make dance accessible to the greatest number of people.
