The Béjart Ballet Lausanne will take over the stage of the Théâtre de Beaulieu from 16 to 21 December 2025 for a series of performances blending contemporary creation and choreographic heritage. Under the artistic direction of Julien Favreau, two original works by Andonis Foniadakis and Riva & Repele will open the evening. The first, set to music by Depeche Mode, celebrates a powerful and free-spirited dance. The second explores a dramatic sensitivity inspired by Shostakovich. To close the evening, one of Maurice Béjart’s emblematic masterpieces, “The Firebird“, will be presented for the first time in a new version in Lausanne.
