Waves that remember nothing--and the story of those who left their footprints on them. Conrad, the captain of corsairs, has been on the high seas with his crew and then encounters a slave-trading ship. Conrad frees the captives and Ali joins Conrad’s crew; with the reinforced crew, the corsairs discover a small island. There, Conrad falls in love with a girl named Medora. However, the ruling class from a neighboring country, Margentos, invite themselves in, only to take Medora and her friends away under the claim that they did not offer worthy tributes. Thus, Conrad and the corsairs venture to Margentos and disguise themselves as vagrants to rescue Medora. Upon arrival in Margentos, Conrad defeats the Prince and runs away with Medora. However, Birbanto, the quartermaster of the corsairs, fails to escape and is arrested. The quick-witted Birbanto vows to the King that he would revenge the Prince’s death by killing Conrad and heads to the corsair’s den with Gulnare, the head priestess. A bloody battle is waged between the corsairs led by Conrad and the Margentosi led by Birbanto. Having triumphed over the Margentosi and Birbanto, Conrad, Medora, Gulnare, and Ali launch into a new journey.
