The two guitar virtuosos unveil their new project!
In more than fifteen years of career, Rodrigo y Gabriela have established themselves as one of the greatest acoustic instrumental bands in the world with their unique musical style. An eclectic mix of classic rock, heavy metal and flamenco, a rare alchemy of influences that has always permeated their work.
This year the band returns with their most ambitious album "In Between Thoughts...In New World" available on April 21, 2023. Inspired by the Advaita Vedanta, a Hindu philosophy, this new project reflects the concept of non-duality and the recognition of the "I" above all else. As an introduction, they unveiled a compilation of nine videos last December. Entitled "Stages," the two Mexican guitarists say the videos "illustrate the idea of our eternal presence as consciousness.
The first single from the album "Descending to Nowhere" is available today. A first glimpse of this long-awaited album that we are looking forward to discovering live soon in Lausanne, for a unique date in Switzerland!
